Sažetak: Kad god i gde god se događalo, beskućništvo je uvek ekstreman primer marginalizacije. Ne samo u smislu da je verovatno najsloženiji vid apsolutnog siromaštva. Ono po pravilu podrazumeva odbačenost od društva, stigmatizo-vanje i nevidljivost za institucije i zajednicu. U ovom tekstu skrećemo pažnju na beskućništvo u kojem se nalaze hiljade u Republici Srbiji, dok takozvani nadležni ne znaju da se ono dešava, ne žele da se suoče sa njim ili ne umeju. Ista ta država priznaje da je i do pola miliona u riziku od siromaštva i beskuć-ništva. Osobe u situaciji beskućništva su svojevrsni ranjenici koji su pali u neravnopravnom ratu koji zovemo „tranzicija“, koje je društvo zaboravilo i ostavilo iza. Istina o njima je istina o nama i treba da je čujemo. I to ispričanu iz prve ruke. Konačno, ovde testiramo jednu teološko-egzistencijalnu tezu: bes-kućništvo – zlo kakvo jeste, kao i svaka druga patnja – može postati semenište Jovovske mudrosti, koja omamljenom savremenom čoveku otkriva šta je šta i kuda dalje. Rad kombinuje esejističku analizu, narativne priče iz prve ruke i teološko-refleksivni ton, koristeći hibridni stil koji istovremeno informiše, osvetljava marginalizovane i podstiče duhovnu i društvenu introspekciju.
Abstract: Whenever and wherever it occurs, homelessness is an extreme manife- station of marginalization. It is not only arguably the most complex form of absolute poverty; as a rule, it entails social exclusion, stigmatization, and institutional as well as communal invisibility. In this text, we draw attention to the homelessness experienced by thousands in the Republic of Serbia, whi- le the so-called competent authorities either fail to recognize its existence, refuse to confront it, or lack the capacity to do so. The same state acknowled- ges that up to half a million people are at risk of poverty and homelessness. People experiencing homelessness are, in a sense, the wounded who have fal- len in the asymmetrical war we call „transition“—individuals forgotten and left behind by society. The truth about them is the truth about us, and it must be heard—told in their own voices. Finally, this paper advances and examines a theological-existential thesis: that homelessness—an evil as it undoubtedly is, like all forms of suffering—can become a seedbed of Job-like wisdom, capable of awakening the numbed contemporary person to discern what truly is and where the path forward lies. The study combines essayistic analysis, first-hand narrative accounts, and a theological-reflective tone, employing a hybrid style that simultaneously informs, illuminates the marginalized, and fosters both spiritual and social introspection.
