Sažetak: Ovaj rad razmatra marginalizam kao teorijsko-epistemološki okvir i metapoziciju savetodavnog i psihoterapijskog rada, polazeći od filozofskog koncepta margine razvijenog u delima Dražena Pavlice. Margina se ne razume kao periferija ili deficit psihičkog života, već kao konstitutivni prostor u kome se subjektivno iskustvo pojavljuje u svojoj neodređenosti, fragmentarnosti i procesualnosti. Rad polazi od pretpostavke da savremena psihoterapijska praksa sve češće susreće iskustva koja izmiču jasnoći, dijagnostičkoj kategorizaciji i ciljno orijentisanim intervencijama, te da upravo ta iskustva zahtevaju drugačiji odnos prema znanju, promeni i terapijskom cilju. Cilj rada jeste da marginalistički psihoterapijski princip konceptualizuje kao metapoziciju, a ne kao tehniku ili poseban terapijski pravac. Poseban akcenat stavljen je na epistemološki značaj neodređenosti, poziciju terapeuta zasnovanu na svesnom neznanju, kao i na etičke implikacije rada sa marginalnim sadržajima iskustva. Kroz analizu terapijskog odnosa, faza marginalističkog procesa i teorijske integracije sa humanističkim, egzistencijalnim i fenomenološkim tradicijama, rad pokazuje da se terapijska promena ne odvija nužno kroz direktnu intervenciju, već kroz zadržavanje pažnje uz iskustvo koje se tek formira. Zaključno, rad ukazuje da marginalizam predstavlja relevantan i etički osvešćen okvir savremene savetodavne i psihoterapijske prakse, posebno u radu sa iskustvima koja izmiču dominantnim terapijskim narativima, normalizaciji i instrumentalizaciji psihičkog života
Abstract: This paper explores marginalism as a theoretical and epistemological fra- mework and as a meta-position in counselling and psychotherapeutic practi- ce, drawing on the philosophical concept of the margin developed by Dražen Pavlica. The margin is not understood as a peripheral or deficient aspect of psychic life, but as a constitutive space in which subjective experience emer- ges in its indeterminacy, fragmentation, and processual nature. The paper starts from the premise that contemporary psychotherapy increasingly enco- unters forms of experience that resist clarity, diagnostic categorisation, and goal-oriented intervention, and that such experiences call for a different rela- tionship to knowledge, change, and therapeutic aims. The aim of the paper is to conceptualise the marginalistic psychothera- peutic principle as a meta-position rather than as a technique or a distinct the- rapeutic school. Particular emphasis is placed on the epistemological value of indeterminacy, the therapist’s stance grounded in conscious non-knowing, and the ethical implications of working with marginal experiences. Through an analysis of the therapeutic relationship, the phases of the marginalistic process, and a theoretical dialogue with humanistic, existential, and phenomeno- logical traditions, the paper argues that therapeutic change does not necessa- rily occur through direct intervention, but through sustained attention to expe- riences that are still in formation. The paper concludesthat marginalism offers a theoretically grounded and ethically reflective framework for contemporary counselling and psychothe- rapeutic practice, especially in working with experiences that elude dominant therapeutic narratives, processes of normalisation, and the instrumentalisation of subjective life.
